Christmas Movie Roundup

Christmas Movie Roundup

Alright friends, I’m doing this thing. If you follow me on IG you know how much I love a good Christmas movie. Something about lighting my tree and snuggling up on my couch to watch unrealistic but touching films does it for me. So today I’m rounding up a few of my favorites. I won’t give a description for every single one but for a few of my favorites, I’ll write a little something, something.

There’s a lot of Christmas movies so this doesn’t cover all of the ones I have watched or want to but it gives you a great start!

Animated/Kid-friendly:

Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer- Classic. Literally one of my favorites as a kid. I watch this every Christmas. I honestly should just buy the DVD.

All I Want for Christmas Is You- Mariah Carey’s animated movie that is based on her book and hit song of the same title. It has puppies and Christmas, two of my favorite things.

The Polar Express- I’ve never watched this movie because admittedly the characters creep me out but I’ve heard great things.

Charlie Brown Christmas- Because, duh.

Hallmark:

P.S. Download the Hallmark Christmas movie app for a lineup for this year’s holiday flicks. You can even add movies to your list and export them to your phone calendar (Not ashamed to say I’ve done this).

Jingle Bell Bride

Christmas Under Wraps

Christmas at the Plaza

Lifetime:

The Christmas Aunt

No Time Like Christmas

The Christmas Yule Blog

A Christmas Winter Song

Netflix:

Free Rein Christmas- I’m a 23-year-old woman who loves to ride horses so obviously I watch the kid’s show Free Rein. This Christmas special was no different, I was glued to my screen.

This Christmas

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The Holiday Calendar

A Christmas Prince series- Watch all 3 if you love a progressive but royal storyline.

Holiday Rush

The Princess Switch- The sequel comes out this year and I’m so excited.

The Knight Before Christmas

Christmas Inheritance

Let It Snow

A Princess for Christmas- Y’all, the acting, the cinematography, just watch and have a good laugh.

A Family Reunion Christmas- A Christmas special for a family-friendly Netflix show.

Operation Christmas Drop- If you can get past the savior complex vibes, it’s a new favorite. Definitely worth a watch and based on a real humanitarian effort.

Honorable Mentions:

Home Alone

Best Man Holiday

Same Time Next Christmas

Christmas at Water’s Edge

Madea’s Christmas

The Perfect Holiday

Last Holiday

Black Nativity

Unaccompanied Minors

I hope this gives you some good holiday flicks to watch or rewatch! Let me know if you watch any of these films and what you think. If you need me, I’ll be watching this year’s flicks on my couch!
